The Akanksha mentor is an individual working within one
of Akanksha’s mentor companies who becomes a guide
to an Akanksha child. Mentors and Akanksha children meet
every week for 1.5-2 hours in the mentor’s office.
Mentoring involves help through the difficult adolescent
years and career information and guidance. A mentor helps
children identify and balance their aspirations, achievement
and family realities.
