Akanksha was built on the strength of its center teachers. Center teachers become much more than teachers, they become life-long role models and support systems. In centers, one teacher is responsible for a group of students, and grows with them. Many teachers stay for years, forming bonds with their students as they take them from the primary level to 10th standard. Center teachers must also work incredibly hard to make up for the holes in their students’ formal schooling, filling 3 hours with as much learning and fun as possible.
