Akanksha’s Design class studied a few great artists and saw that their lives had one common factor: their passion for their art overcame countless struggles. They were blown away by Hussain’s determination to speak his mind, with Raza’s 50 year study of art, with Van Gogh’s belief in his style, with Jamini Roy’s ability to dare to be himself, with Monet’s
obsession to get it right, and with Kandinsky’s strive to make his colours his music. The Akanksha children created their own art as a tribute to these incredible individuals from different parts of the world and different eras.
The resulting art has been so unique in its interpretation and so honest and true, that it simply had to be taken a step further. The Akanksha Shop presents to you a range of products that will take art from the little artists straight into your hearts and your home. It’s products that are simple in their form, but speak volumes about the children who designed them, their unique perspective, and their immense hope in their future.
