The Akanksha Fund Inc. is actively involved in supporting Akanksha's mission through fundraising, program development, and awareness creation in the United States.

It has been incorporated under Section 402 of the New York Not-for-Profit Corporation Law and is organized for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Akanksha Fund is also registered in Illinois as a 501 (c) 3 charity.

Kids In Need Of Education (KINOE) raises funds for educational projects in the Indian subcontinent.
In India, KINOE supports Akanksha in Mumbai. KINOE also supports a school for children of Tibetan origin and a medical training centre, within the district of Mustang in Nepal.

KINOE is a UK registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1058290). It raises funds through various events each year. In the past, these have included photographic and art exhibitions, lectures, and dance events.
