Bennington College, USA Inductee
Meet Mrunal Khadke!
Mrunal began her Akanksha journey at K.C. Thackeray Vidya Niketan in grade 3.
She was a bright student with a knack for dance and was introduced to the art form in school by her teachers through activities and clubs that unleashed her talent. Mrunal was inspired to do more and better each day by Puneet sir, her English teacher and Shraddha Didi, who supported and motivated her to learn. The teaching methods were unique with a hands-on experience of how and why concepts learnt in classwork or how dance frees one’s mind.
Mrunal cherishes her days as a KCTVN student and credits the school for her transformation into a confident and passionate student.
With the aim to pursue Liberal Arts with dance as a subject, she applied to United World College, Singapore after successfully passing the 10th-grade board examinations at KCTVN. She was introduced to the opportunity by the school and secured a fully funded admit at UWC. And then, there was no looking back!
Mrunal excelled at UWC as she inspired many by her passion for dance. She also performed well throughout her course and got ready for her next adventure.
After learning about different cultures at UWC, she went on to secure a fully-funded admit at Bennington College, USA for her graduation in Liberal Arts. She studied Japanese, Dance, Geography, Video Making and Visual Arts in her first year at Bennington.
Mrunal continues to pursue the course today and inspires many Akanksha students to dream and be the change.
