Alumni Support and Engagement Program (ASE)

Our vision is to cultivate a strong ecosystem of support that enables every Akanksha alum to lead an empowered, self-directed life. We believe every young person deserves access to guidance, skills, and opportunities so they can thrive, no matter which path they choose. Since life after school is not a one-size-fits-all experience, our Alumni Support & Engagement (ASE) program begins as early as Grade 8, equipping students to make informed career decisions. ASE has focused verticals that strengthen real-world readiness by blending academic credentials, practical skills, internships, leadership camps, and vocational training. Through multiple strong partnerships with organisations across sectors, we help our alumni pursue diverse pathways such as college, apprenticeships, or entrepreneurial ventures, while building the confidence, awareness, and clarity to walk a path that is truly their own.

"Becoming a doctor was far from easy, but my Akanksha teachers stood by me even beyond school. Financial struggles almost ended my dream, but my Didis and Bhaiyyas ensured I continued. After Grade 12, I took a gap year to prepare for NEET-UG but didn’t succeed. Undeterred, I tried again and cleared it, only to face admission hurdles due to a missing domicile certificate. Refusing to give up, I made a third attempt and finally secured a spot in a government medical college in Maharashtra."
